## Editorial bio — 110 words

Dr Stephen Lee is a clinical neuropsychologist on the Gold Coast and the
founder of BrainScribe, the clinical-assessment workspace he is building from
inside his own practice. He holds a Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology from
La Trobe University and a Bachelor of Psychology with first-class honours, with
more than eight years of clinical experience across neurorehabilitation and
acute mental-health settings. As director of The Brain & Mind Clinic, Stephen
specialises in dementia, cognitive change, and complex neurological conditions.
He started BrainScribe to close the gap between the assessment record and the
report — so every claim in a clinician's draft can be traced back to its
source.

## Long-form profile — 250 words

Dr Stephen Lee is a clinical neuropsychologist practising on the Gold Coast.
He is the director of The Brain & Mind Clinic — a specialty neuropsychology
practice — and the founding clinician behind BrainScribe, an assessment
workspace for AHPRA-registered specialists in Australia.

Stephen completed his Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology at La Trobe
University, after a Bachelor of Psychology with first-class honours. Before
founding The Brain & Mind Clinic he spent more than eight years across
neurorehabilitation and acute mental-health settings, working with patients
through cognitive change, dementia, and complex neurological conditions.

The Brain & Mind Clinic was founded with a single phrase as its compass:
*bringing you peace of mind.* In practice, that meant assessment reports that
read like the clinician's thinking, with each conclusion linked back to the
data it came from — not a wall of jargon, and not a black-box output.

Stephen started BrainScribe because the toolchain around his own assessment
work didn't hold together. Scales arrived on paper. Scoring lived in
spreadsheets. The report sat in a Word file that no longer pointed back at
the data it summarised. BrainScribe was designed against that workload — one
record per assessment, with every interpretive sentence in the draft
traceable to its source.

The platform is in closed beta with AHPRA-registered psychologists and
psychiatrists practising in Australia. Beta clinicians publish measured
outcomes; nothing on the BrainScribe site is invented data.
